Dreyer’s® No sugar added cookies & cream (ice cream dessert)

A close look reveals that there are FOURTEEN servings in this 1.75 quart carton. Total bad fat is 2g per serving, with 14g net carbs and 9g of sugar.

Note: The regular version of this product (photo not shown) lists total net carbs of 33g per ½ cup serving, with a whopping 18g of sugar per serving. This is because it is made with whole milk, rather than “light” skim milk. Check the list of ingredients to find many instances of sugar and corn syrup.

An inattentive consumer eating ice cream directly out of the carton, without measuring portions, could easily spoon out more than ½ cup. All per-serving quantities are multiplied accordingly. Dieters should not be looking at desserts except as a rare treat.
